Why We Created EpiPens for Schools
The idea behind EpiPens for Schools came after learning about the tragic death of five-year-old Benedict Blythe, who suffered a fatal anaphylactic reaction while at school in 2021.
Like many people across the UK, we were deeply moved by Benedict's story. We were also inspired by the incredible work of the Benedict Blythe Foundation, whose tireless campaigning has raised awareness of allergy safety in schools and helped drive meaningful change through Benedict's Law.
Their work highlighted just how important it is for schools to have clear allergy policies, well-trained staff and access to emergency adrenaline auto injectors when every second matters.
It also made us ask an important question:
